Calvin Harris is very individualistic when it comes to the music he makes. Frank Ocean and Migos also fall into this category, leading their fields with the work they put in, but they all apply to different genres. The three coming together and collaborating to make one single makes me have high hopes. “Slide” met all of these expectations and more. In fact, I found myself listening to this on repeat for a long time.

From a slow intro mixed with piano to an excellent intro, chorus and verse from Frank Ocean, this song is an instant hit. A great beat to move to makes this song even better. Throwing Migos in there for two verses with a tempo faster than the others was a genius move. This song has elements that mix perfectly well together. The tempo, vocals, and talent are the best of the year so far.

If there are more collaborations between these three, then I’ll be bouncing off the walls. This is worth the listen. Trust me.
