Answers To All Of Your Frequently Asked Questions:

WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

The Buzz is on Twitter (@WSBU), Facebook (WSBU The Buzz), Instagram (@TheBuzz_WSBU), and Tik Tok (@wsbu.thebuzz)!

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS PLAY?

You name it. We get tons of new releases every week. We take the stuff we get and throw everything at the wall to see what sticks. If you love music but you’re sick of radio, tune us in. We refuse to bore you.

I DON’T HAVE A RADIO. CAN I STILL LISTEN TO THE BUZZ SOMEHOW?

Most definitely. Our recently installed Live365 system allows us to broadcast online 24/7. All you need is the computer you’re reading this on and some speakers or headphones and you’re set. Click on “Listen” at the top left or “Listen Online” on the page header and you’ll be taken to our Live365. Hit “Play,” give it a second, and you should be listening to today’s best in alternative rock or hip-hop.

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?

Absolutely. Commercial radio stations have their programming already planned out, and if they’re already going to play it, then they’ll be glad to play your “request.” At The Buzz, if we can find it, we’ll play it. Just call us at (716) 375-2332.

WHAT IS THIS BUZZWORTHY THING I SEE AROUND CAMPUS?

Buzzworthy is a full-fledged music and entertainment magazine produced by The Buzz’s public relations department. Having started off as a PR tool for recruiting DJs and showcasing our music, it has grown into the alternative media publication you see today, with its own staff of editors and contributors.

HOW MANY RECORDS DO YOU HAVE?

Are you serious? That’s like asking a library how many books they have! Our library goes way back and gets way deep, and if we don’t have it, you don’t need it. And we’ve been around since 1948 (plus, there aren’t any math majors on the board of directors).

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND?

Since 1948. The first letter in our records are from the “Dean of the College” (St. Bonaventure is now a university) and it tells how “The Board of Instruction” unanimously approved the rules and regulations of WOFM on February 28, 1950.

I’M IN NEW YORK. HOW COME I CAN’T HEAR YOU?

You can pick us up in the car at 88.3 FM if you’re within a 15-20 mile radius.

And, as mentioned above, you can find us 24 hours a day online at Live365 by clicking the link at the top of this page. We get requests from every continent on earth. And we do mean every.

WHERE CAN I FIND A SCHEDULE OF ALL THE SHOWS?
