OLEAN, N.Y. — The Siena Saints knocked off St. Bonaventure University 4-2 Saturday at a William O. Smith Recreation Center decked out in pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
With both teams competing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division II conference, the Bonnies drop to 2-2 on the season, while Siena climbs to 6-2.
After a scoreless first period, St. Bonaventure scored two goals, and Siena got one past Bonnies junior goaltender Tyler Kirk during the second. Captain center Tyler Menz and senior forward Carson Schlager netted the lone goals for the Bonnies, their respective first and second goals of the 2025-26 campaign.
Faced with a 2-1 deficit, Siena scored three unanswered goals in the third period, pulling in front of the Bonnies to secure a Saints victory. Siena sophomore goalie Caleb Murray was named the player of the game for his performance between the pipes.
The Bonnies finish their weekend slate on Sunday, Oct. 19, with their second road game of the season, traveling to Ithaca, New York, to take on the Cornell University Big Red.
