The St. Bonaventure University men’s basketball team aims to maintain perfection at home as they host Bloomsburg University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Bonnies come into Wednesday’s matchup with a 7-1 record and a two-game win streak, after getting their first loss of the season against the University of North Carolina.
The most recent outing for Bonaventure saw a 70-65 win over Florida Atlantic University.
Senior guard Cayden Charles led the Bonnies with 16 points, while senior forward Frank Mitchell and freshman guard Achille Lonati each scored 13. Mitchell has recorded a double-double in 5 of the 8 games this season.
After losing their first three games, the Huskies have won their last two meetings, capped by a 78-54 win over the University of Penn State Hazleton on Sunday.
Bloomsburg is led by redshirt freshman guard Ries Naugle and redshirt junior guard Courtney David II, each averaging 10 points per game.
The game will be aired on ESPN+. Radio coverage will be available on the Bonnies Online Network, 100.1 FM (Bradford/Olean), 1340 AM (Jamestown), 106.9 FM (Hornell), and 92.1 FM (Rochester).
