POWELLS POINT, N.C. — The St. Bonaventure University men’s golf team finished 14th at the Old Dominion University/Kilmarlic Invitational, held at Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C. The team posted a combined score of 913, 49 over par across three rounds and two days, concluding Monday. 

The 16-team tournament was originally scheduled for three 18-hole rounds but was changed to two 27-hole days because of inclement weather. The Bonnies’ strongest team performance came in the second 18 holes, when they posted a 300, improving on an opening 311 before closing with a 302 in the final round. 

Sophomore Braddock Damore led St. Bonaventure, tying for 37th individually at 10 over par 226. He opened with a 76, then shot 73 and 77.  

Freshmen Colin Barber and Tyler Berkman tied for 51st at 13 over par 229. Barber finished with a 74 in the final round, while Berkman posted rounds of 78, 76, and 75. Senior Michael Bucko tied for 67th at 17 over par 233, and senior Gabe Williams rounded out the scoring at 20 over par 236, tying for 71st.  

St. Bonaventure University had 71 bogeys, second to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with 72. 

The College of William & Mary won the team title at even par, followed by Georgetown University at seven-over-par and Longwood University at nine over par. William & Mary freshman Eli Felty captured the individual title at four under par 209.  

With the fall portion of St. Bonaventure University’s 2024–25 schedule complete, the team will return to North Carolina for the Ross Collegiate Classic, its first spring competition on March 9.
