OLEAN, N.Y. — Freshman forward Ryan Levesque scored a hat trick to lead St. Bonaventure University to a 10-2 win over the University at Buffalo on Sunday at the William O. Smith Recreation Center.

Both teams compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division II and the SECHL.

Bonaventure opened the game with two goals in the first 10 minutes. The Bulls answered late in the period to cut the deficit to one.

The Bulls tied the game at two early in the second period, but Bonaventure answered with two goals to close out the period.

The Bonnies scored six goals in the third period, recording eight unanswered goals to finish the game.

They improved to 12-4-1 and remain tied for third in the division with Army (West Point). Buffalo, last in the division, dropped to 1-9-1.

Bonaventure travels to Binghamton University (12-2-1) on Friday, Dec. 5, at the SUNY Broome Ice Arena in Binghamton, New York.
