LEWISBURG, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure Bonnies men’s golf team secured a seventh-place finish of 19 teams at the Bucknell Invitational on Oct. 12-14, posting a 54-hole total of 30-over par at Bucknell Golf Club. The Bonnies recorded rounds of 294 (+6), 302 (+14) and 298 (+10) to close out the event.

Youngstown State University won the team title at 17-over, followed by Robert Morris University (+22) and Colgate University (+23).

Freshman Tyler Berkman led the Bonnies individually with a T10 place finish (+5), while senior Michael Bucko came in at +6, good for T15. Senior Gabe Williams finished at +7, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 third hole, one of just two eagles recorded on that hole during the tournament. Sophomore Braddock Damore submitted a +8, good for T27.

Brayden Dock of Colgate claimed the top spot at 1-under, with Leo Chu of Holy Cross University finishing second at even par. Chu led after the second round, but 2 birdies in the final three holes for Dock gave him a one stroke lead over Chu, who turned in a +5 final round.

The Bonnies will close out their fall schedule at the ODU/Kilmarlic Invitational in Powells Point, N.C. Oct. 26–28.
