American Sprint Car Series: Friday night the series was at Hunt County Raceway in Greenville, Texas. The 30-lap feature had a purse of $4,000, which went to Noah Gass, won for the first time with the ASCS and for the first time since 2021.

For the first 15 laps, Gass led the field. But he eventually lost it to Ayrton Gennetten. Gass tried to take the lead back from a couple restarts on Lap 17, but Gennetten was just too quick … for five laps.  Gennetten slipped, allowing Gass to pass him by riding the cushion. Traffic came up quickly in the final laps, but Gass finished 1.434 seconds ahead of Gennetten.

Saturday saw the series head to Kennedale, Texas, to race at Kennedale Speedway Park. Following Friday’s proceedings, there was a 30-lap race with a $4,000 prize. Instead of Gass winning, Sam Hafertepe Jr. did. From the drop of the green flag, Koty Adams led for the first six laps with Hafertepe in 2nd.  Adams lost the lead when Hafertepe did a slide job on him coming out of Turn 4 due to lap traffic in front of Adams. Adams ended up finishing 4th after Blaine Baxter and Dominic Scelzi both passed him during the final laps.
