As well as, Calboy and Lil Tjay’s rap style that creates the ultimate dynamic duo to represent the new wave of rap. While listening to the chorus of the song, Calboy uses a lot of symbolism as if it were Friday night on Elm Street. With the violence, drugs, Betrayal and ruthlessness in the streets of South Side Chicago and the Bronx. Both artists rap as if they were metaphorically in their past, but reminisce about it because as an artist, everything comes with fame. In Lil Tjay’s verse, he brags about the things he has now compared when he had nothing. Which other people in his neighborhood hate and see him as a vulnerable target. As for Lil Tjay, his crew and music is what keeps them going as for both artists in the song. Lil Tjay and Calboy’s “Barbarian” song represents the new decade of artist Rap artists.
